I was being impressed with the damage that my critter avoided and ended up not playing it well. Still, that’s a lot of damage being blocked.

Hey Disco, I hear you say you don’t like Sandstorm quite often. I agree with your comments that is introduces a chance of a miss and a loss. However, it is hard to look past the benefits. It counters weather dependent pets (of which many top pets are like, Blightbreath, Twilight and sunny day). It reduced dot damage, including on the back line, so this is good against anom and pyreclaw. It reduces or nullifies immolation (damn imps).
And BTW – perhaps my tooltips are messed up, but Did Sandstorm just get a Buff?? SS Qiraji Sandstorm was 350 damage, but my tooltip, as of two nights ago, is now saying 630 damage. This is a huge bump up – so now the damage is even better.
No, you are right, Sandstorm was buffed by 50%, as was Call Darkness and Call Lightning (among other changes to weather). I just made a video about it(uploading now). It’s really good, I agree, it’s just never been my thing.
