P/P Sen’Jin Fetish (Flame Breath, Wild Magic, Sear Magic)
S/S Sporeling Sprout (Jab, Leech Seed, Crouch)
P/P Imperial Eagle Chick (Thrash, Adrenaline Rush, Lift-Off)
Strategy:
The Sporeling Sprout and Imperial Eagle Chick are still up there on my list of favorite new pets. Since Demolish has been fixed I’ve been seeing a lot fewer Anubisath Idols so I’ve been going with Flame Breath and Wild Magic on my voodoo mask. Having a 100% move replace a 90% move (Shadow Slash) is great and Wild Magic synergizes well with the flyer. Please stay in with Wild Magic while my 341 power flyer casts Thrash. Pain. The Sporeling Sprout can do a great job of tanking. Most likely I’ll start with the Sen’Jin Fetish to put up Wild Magic and then go from there.
The Opposing Team:

H/H Magical Crawdad
The Battle:
What an gross combo to face (says the guy who ran Rag and a DAH yesterday). Of course the Unborn Val’kyr started and of course I started with my voodoo mask. Flame Breath, Wild Magic and Sear Magic sent the Val’kyr burning to the back line. Bonkers came out then the Sen’Jin Fetish applied Flame Breath and Wild Magic before I swapped to the Sporeling Sprout. The Sporeling Sprout was able to kill Bonkers but took a lot of damage. When the Val’kyr can back in I swapped to my mask. Flame Breath and Wild Magic again. The Unborn Val’kyr was able to take out my Sen’Jin Fetish so I brought in the Imperial Eagle Chick. The powerful bird brought the Unborn Val’kyr to 0 hp and used Lift-Off for the undead round so it didn’t get Haunted. Then came the pet I was dreading, the Magical Crawdad. The Lift-Off hit for 900+ damage. I expected the Wish to come right away but… the Magical Crawdad laid down a Whirpool. Really? After the bird died my Sporeling Sprout was able to easily finish the Wish-less Magical Crawdad. Funny.

I thought that was odd, too. Must have been a new player. Without Wish the Magical Crawdad isn’t much of an adversary.
I’m assuming the chick is P/P but I may be off base. What breed are you going with for the Sporeling Sprout?
Oops, forgot to list the breeds. Fixed. I like the S/S Sporeling Sprout so the speed can give me an extra round of Crouch. I’ve not used the chick or the sprout in a long time. There’s just too many double or triple undead Consume Corpse teams around my meta. This reminds me of nicer times, oh how much can change in four months.
