Batrep
It’s been a hectic week, I’ve hardy battled at all. Instead of “The Quick Three” I’m going to start doing “Batrep” (short for battle report) on days like this because sometimes there’s not even time for three. It’s basically just a quick battle rep due to having a limited amount of time. I’m going on the assumption that something is better than nothing.

Fiendish Imp, Scourged Whelpling, Vengeful Porcupette
vs. Pebble, Blackfuse Bombling, Scooter the Snail
Scooter could have given me a lot of trouble if equipped with a shield but it wasn’t. Immolation with the humanoid racial is great, add in Plagued Blood and the healing is phenomenal. At one point the imp returned to the battle with full health after being close to half dead. All for just standing back there in a ball of fire. The lack of speed on the enemy team made Tail Swipe less effective so I chose to spam Plagued Blood instead. A fairly easy win. An even easier write-up.

Tried this team out today. The smelly dog face showed up the first game. Sandstorm shuts down too much.
Went 0-4 with this team and then gave up. The team with an idol shut it down. The team with an emerald proto drake shut it down. Faced a moonlight team of sprite darter, infected squirrel, and xu. The infected squirrel dominated. I could have very well played the most terrible way you could play it. I did like the vengeful guy though.
The Immolation/Plagued Blood combo has definitely suffered from power creep since 5.2, it’s not as good as it once was. Sandstorm kills it like you said. The Vengeful Porcupette is still a pet I’m exploring. As you can tell by the lack of dailies I haven’t had time to battle much, but when life calms down I plan on using it a lot more. Spirit Spikes is so awesome.
The Vengeful Porcupette almost came back and won me games where I was in a big whole. I want to find a team to put it on.
