Today’s Team: Druid Of The Dance
S/S Jademist Dancer (Steam Vent, Rain Dance, Acid Rain)
B/B Moonkin Hatchling (Punch, Clobber, Cyclone)
H/B Swamp Croaker (Water Jet, Swarm Of Flies, Bubble)

Rationale:
I wanted to use the Moonkin Hatchling a few times when I was leveling Safetydance (the Horde priest I took from 1 to 90 with PvP pet battles) but only my Alliance version of the pet was level 25. I didn’t want to use it bad enough to go out level the Horde version so I never used it. Now that I’m currently leveling an Alliance paladin I have my opportunity. The only place I can ever imagine a Moonkin Hatchling being successful is on a clonedance team. If it’s fast enough it can Clobber then Cyclone then swap to the Jademist Dancer. I’ve been finding the Swamp Croaker more and more useful so I included it as a third. I’ve won two battles already, but I was lucky enough to get dragonkin to Punch.

Concerns:
The Mooning Hatchling is not great in general with its B/B breed and mediocre move set. If the clonedance strategy breaks down I’m not sure I have a plan B.

The Opposing Team:
B/B Unborn Val’kyr
H/S Darkmoon Rabbit
P/P Emerald Proto-Whelp
Three battles, three dragons! What a lucky little Moonkin Hatchling.

The Battle:
It was really short so I’ll do it lazy style:
Round 1: Burrow / Cyclone
Round 2: swap to Jademist Dancer/ Burrow
Round 3: Dodge / Rain Dance
Round 4: Huge Sharp Teeth / Acid Rain
Round 5: swap to Unborn Val’kyr / Steam Vent
Round 6: swap to Swamp Croaker / Unholy Ascension
Round 7: Water Jet / Emerald Presence
Round 8: Water Jet / Lift-Off
Round 9: Bubble / Lift-Off
After that my opponent fled. Based on three battles, I conclude that the Moonkin Hatchling is unbeatable.

Edit: Won 10 in a row then finally lost to a smelly dog face. Stupid idol.
