Game 1 (Bandibot)
Bandicoon, Warbot, Gilded Moth
vs. Direhorn Runt, Nuts, Infected Squirrel

The Direhorn started off against my Warbot hoping to stun. It missed its stuns and I didn’t miss my Missiles. Nuts came in to the Minefield and more Missiles and died quick. Finishing it off was easy enough. I never had to use the Moth.

Game 2 (Acid Fungus)
Corefire imp, Infected Squirrel, Shimmershell Snail
vs. Celestial Dragon, Silky Moth, Nether Fairie Dragon

081314GThe Snail went crazy again. It always surprises me when this happens. The Imp put up Immolation and then the Snail took out the whole team. How could this happen? The Moonlight from the Dragon helped the Absorb healing and the Snail hit some stuns. It’s pretty funny.

Game 3 (Wisp Team)
Nordrassil Wisp, Emperor Crab, Scalded Basilisk Hatchling
vs. Gilnean Raven, Pandaren Water Spirit, Scourged Whelpling

081413AEven when I have a Wisp I still fear the Raven, especially when I have an Emperor Crab. Thankfully my opponent didn’t push that match-up. The Feign Death allowed me to dodge the Water Spirit’s nukes.  It was still close, but I knew I had the win thanks to the 100% accuracy moves on the Wisp, I love when that happens.  I really need to change the name of this team.

Game 4 (Ratty Dread)
Black Rat, Robo-Chick, Scourged Whelpling
vs. Gregarious Grell, Arctic Fox Kit, Cogblade Raptor

081413HRevenge against the person who knocked me out yesterday. There was a lot of swapping in this one with all of the strong attacks. My DoTs and Plagued Blood did decent damage and healing during all of the swaps. I need more Robo-Chick in my life.

Game 5 (Back To Basics)
Bandicoon, Spirit Crab, Robo-Chick
vs. Molten Hatchling, Wild Jade Hatchling, Water Waveling

081413BBandicoons are OVERPOWERED! Of course not, but with its DoT, my opponent’s Lightning, the Bandicoon hitting third attacks, and the tickles from the AoEs the Bandicoon solo’d this whole team. Really, it did.

Game 6 (Stuff That Flies)
Jade Owl, Blighthawk, Fledgling Buzzard
vs. Gregarious Grell, Arctic Fox Kit, Wild Jade Hatchling

081413EThis person again. I didn’t think I was going to win this one. There were a couple of key turns that contributed a lot. The first was my opponent not Dodging with the Grell on the turn that the Blighthawk used Ghostly Bite. The other was the Jade Owl hitting two Slicing Winds to win in with a few hp left.

Game 7 (Blizzy McTundra)
Kun-Lai Runt, Tiny Snowman, Tundra Penguin
vs. Anubisath Idol, Tundra Penguin, Clockwork Rocket Bot

Idol took out the Snowman due to a Deep Freeze miss. Even with Slippery Ice the Idol was hitting a lot. Sometimes that’s just how it goes.

Game over.

Final Score: 6

  1. I don’t get your fascination with bandicoons!

It has a boring name but I like the look of your “Stuff that flies” team, I am going to have to try that out tonight.

I leveled up one of your favorites and tried him tonight, the Stone Armadillo. He was a wrecking machine. Mostly because people don’t know his moves. I would be in versus a Fiendish Imp or Valk Unborn and laying the smack down. Many, many times with multiple opponents, they would switch into something like a Scourged Whelp or a Anubisath Idol and start eating more super effective hits. There was a team I ran into that on the surface looks Tier1: Anubisath idol, Scourged Whelp, Lil Ragnaros, that my little armadillo named just dominated almost all on his own.

A pet you need to get and make a good team for me is the Son of Animus. I tried him for the first time tonight and this guy is above the curve. I had him almost solo a Pandaren Earth Spirit eating stuns and super effective hits the whole time, he is just so tanky.

I recently bought a Son Of Animus and leveled it to 25. Then I never did a single battle with it. I’ll give it a shot soon.
