Today’s Team: Krushgroove
S/S Qiraji Guardling (Crush, Sandstorm, Blackout Kick)
H/P Living Sandling (Sand Bolt, Sandstorm, Quicksand)
H/S Ashstone Core (Feedback, Stoneskin, Crystal Prison)

Rationale:
The Ashsotne Core can be impressive, believe it or not. It’s another pet with an effective 289 speed stun, which is surprisingly effective. There are a lot of pets out there that are slower than the Ashstone Core, making them susceptible to stuns. Using Stoneskin in a sandstorm makes it somewhat tanky as well. Haunt ticks for less than 20 damage in that situation. With two weather changers I don’t have to worry about other weather pets as much.

Concerns:
I need to pay close attention to Resilience with two stunning pets.

The Opposing Team:
P/B Gilnean Raven
P/B Spawn Of G’Nathus
B/B Soul Of The Aspects

The Battle:
091414AI’m not sure what my opponent’s plan was as it didn’t feel like there was any synergy between the three opposing pets. It turned out being an easy win. I started with the Qiraji Guardling against the Spawn Of G’Nathus. After the Blackout Kick the aquatic pet was swapped for the flyer, which took a hit on the swap. I brought in the Ashstone Core to hopefully avoid the weather enhanced Nocturnal Strike. It worked. After the big attack missed the Ashstone Core took over. Feedback pounded the flyer with strong attacks then it used its speed and Crystal Prison to gain the upper hand on the dragon. The Qiraji Guardling came back in to finish off the dragon and the Spawn Of G’Nathus. The Living Sandling wasn’t needed.
