Today’s Team: Beaking Out
P/P Junglebeak (Peck, Rain Dance, Nocturnal Strike)
H/P Blighthawk (Infected Claw, Ghostly Bite, Cyclone)
S/S Jademist Dancer (Steam Vent, Rain Dance, Acid Rain)

Rationale:
This is an attempt to use the Junglebeak on a clonedance team. In case you are unaware, the clonedance strategy uses Cyclone together with Rain Dance to give Cyclone much better chance of hitting and critting all three of the enemy pets. Cyclone is normally 35% accuracy but Rain Dance brings it up to 85%, with a 55% chance to crit. I think this could be an interesting team because the Junglebeak could be used as a sweeper on a traditional clonedance rotation (Cyclone, Ghostly Bite, swap to Jademist Dancer) or be used in place of the Jademist Dancer as the second pet. I’m going with Nocturnal Strike in the third slot because it seems so awesome to have a 100% accuracy Nocturnal Strike when combo’d with Rain Dance, but I think in the long run it might be more prudent to have the avoidance of Lift-Off, especially since Lift-Off hits at 100% now. That would waste a round of Rain Dance if you cast it first, though. I’ll have to see how it plays out, this will only be my second battle with the Junglebeak so I don’t have much experience yet.

The Opposing Team:
H/S Ashwing Moth (level 23)
S/B Bloodsting Wasp (level 23)
H/P Dread Raven

The Battle:
111814BA clonedance is hard to beat with a team of full 25s, good luck with those two level 23s on your team. I started with the Blighthawk and decided to go with the traditional swap to the Jademist Dancer. My opponent really only had one chance to win, and that was the chance for Moth Dust to put my pets to sleep. It didn’t happen. Cyclone, swap, Acid Rain, Rain Dance, Steam Vent then Steam Vent resulted in a dead wasp and a lot of back line damage. I brought the Junglebeak in for some screenshots which was arrogant of me because the Dread Raven has a strong attack against flyers. I took one Shadow Talons on the Swap, healed/buffed with Rain Dance then killed the Dread Raven with Nocturnal Strike. The moth fled. I’m interested to see how this team will do against more worthy opposition. Not tonight though, I’m still not 100! I have some Nagranding to do.

Loved this team! Went 4/5 only losing to a Murkalot AOE team.

I tested this team a bit. Good in pve and a free win for most enemies in pvp fights.

As this team is really efficent in pve I played it a bit more, with some changes to the Junglebeak. After some tries, I changed him with Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and it seems to be pretty good team for PvP. I played 20 battles with this team and got 14 wins. Dragonling: Breath, Thunderbolt, Decoy.

I still face a really powerful clonedance on my meta. Instead of the Junglebeak it has the Emperor Crab as the third pet. It’s really hard to beat. I can see the MPD doing great as well.
