Today’s Team: Extreme Hunger
P/S Yu’la (Jadefire Lightning, Celestial Blessing, Life Exchange)
P/P Diemetradon Hatchling (Quick Attack, Triple Snap, Ravage)
H/H Spirit Crab (Snap, Whirlpool, Shell Shield)

Strategy:
My team creation process here was very quick and simple. I wanted to play with the Diemetradon Hatchling, but it’s so fragile. It needs a Celestial Blessing. Out of the two Celestial Blessing pets I prefer Yu’la. Life Exchange can be a huge health turn around if timed right. Since both these pets have low health I threw in the Spirit Crab for some beef. Not the team of the year but it should be fun. The plan is to start with Yu’la to AoE and get up Celestial Blessing then cast Life Exchange right before death. The Diemertadon will come in to receive the blessing to help it survive longer. The Crab will come in to take any big incoming hits.

Concerns:
Yu’la is a tricky pet to use with this move set. I really don’t like using non-speed based triple attacks like Triple Snap, there’s too much rng involved.

The Opposing Team:
H/H Magical Crawdad
H/H Magical Crawdad
H/H Magical Crawdad

The Battle:
032414BIf I hadn’t already committed to the write-up I probably would have ran. Forty-eight rounds of Magical Crawdad fun. This could be really long if I went with the blow by blow. I’ll try to keep it short. Yu’la was not effective. Even with Life Exchange taking so much health it couldn’t keep up with the heals. The Diemetradon Hatchling was my sole hope for big damage. Triple Snap totally failed, hitting only one time on most occasions, hitting twice a couple of times. It never hit three times. My Spirit Crab was able to put up some nice damage as usual, but in the end it couldn’t out damage multiple Wishes. In the beginning of pet battles I toyed with the idea of only allowing one pet per family type on PvP teams but decided it would be too restrictive. It’s teams like this that make me wish that restriction was in place.

Eek what a stall team! They must have some crazy patience, and I’ve seen a lot of triple crow teams which would BBQ ’em.

I would have ran myself lol.
