Today’s Team: Eubacity
H/P Infected Bear Cub (Infected Claw, Bash, Maul)
H/P Snarly (Rip, Surge, Blood In The Water)
P/P Deathwatch Hatchling (Woodchipper, Feed Leap)
Thanks to the kind folks over at Voodoo@Archimonde I was able to get my Deathwatch Hatchling. Whenever I get a new pet with any bleed synergy I put it on a team with Snarly and the Infested Bear Cub. Woodchipper applies the bleeding effect, so here we are. In case you are unaware, both Blood In The Water and Maul are enhanced if used against a bleeding target: BITW has its accuracy increased and Maul hits a second time.
So much beast damage and an aquatic on my team makes me fear flyers.
The Opposing Team:
P/S Fossilized Hatchling
H/S Jademist Dancer
H/P Iron Starlette
No birds, yay! I have no avoidance for the Iron Starlette, boo. What to do? I decided to sacrifice my bear, at least that way it would get its immortal round. I started with Snarly, the Iron Starlette was out first for my opponent. I cast Rip, then BITW, then swapped to the bear to eat the buffed Wind-Up. Bye bye 1709 health. The Iron Starlette stayed in to take the bleeding Maul on the next round, thanks for that favor. It brought the mech to zero, a bleed tick brought it withing kill range for one Surge.
Next up was the Jademist Dancer. Rip, BITW then two Surges left the elemental dead. You may want to swap out of that next time. I understand the frustration of swapping out of an incoming BITW only to be on the bad side of rng and get hit anyways, but with an elemental in there they should have swapped. The Fossilized Hatchling came in to do some weak damage to Snarly before fleeing. I didn’t get to use my Deathwatch Hatchling, oh well, I’m sure it’ll get a lot of use both on an off of bleeding teams.
