Five Wins Or Bust
Since all of the battles are included in the video I’ll keep the words here short. I have not yet mastered the art of talking, playing and taking screenshots yet. Perhaps in the future.
This video is longer than the others; the quality took a hit because of this.
Battle 1: The Boogie Boys (3-1)
Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Violet Firefly, Stunted Yeti
vs. Jademist Dancer, Lofty Libram, Infinite Whelpling
(1:23 on video)
I made a big mistake in the beginning by not anticipating the Geyser and wasting my Feign Death early. I was way behind but came back. Never give up!
Record: 1-0
Battle 2: Run It (2-0)
Bone Serpent, Violet Firefly, Stunted Yeti
vs. Iron Starlette, Lil’ Bling, Chrominius
(7:19 on video)
For the second battle in a row I had strong damage versus a dragon. I used an alternate move set on the Bone Serpent and didn’t really like it.
Record: 2-0
Battle 3: Desperately Seeking Carry (8-3-1)
Macabre Marionette, Imperial Eagle Chick, Puddle Terror
vs. Hydraling, Bonkers, Arctic Hare
(14:44 on video)
Rabbit took a triple Thrash, Hydraling took a Lift-Off, my opponent fled.
Record: 3-0
Battle 4: Desperately Seeking Carry (9-3-1)
Macabre Marionette, Imperial Eagle Chick, Puddle Terror
vs. Guardian Cub, Stitched Pup, Fungal Abomination
(16:55 on video)
My opponent fled early again, this time I wasn’t sure exactly why.
Record: 4-0
Battle 5: Black Bones T (6-6)
Tiny Twister, Macabre Marionette, Mechanical Scorpid
vs. Corefire Imp, Unborn Val’kyr, Scourged Whelpling
(20:30 on video)
I almost lost yet again to this team that beat me twice a few days ago. I wasn’t sure if I should use Call Lightning or not, I did, but it may have been a mistake. I won, but barely.
Record: 5-0
Bonus Battle: Macarena Prohibited (82-5)
Trunks, Fragment Of Anger, Alpine Hare
vs. Mechanical Chicken, Frog, Macabre Marionette
(28:25 on video)
I wanted to show off one of my better teams, it didn’t disappoint.
I have to say that in facing that Corefire Imp, Valk with unholy ascension, Scourged Whelp with dreadful breath team I have been very surprised at how effective it is. Kudos to the player who came up with it and used it so well.
I find it interesting at how much better the team does with Cauterize than Wild Magic. I used to handily beat this team on a regular basis when it had Wild Magic. Now its much harder to defeat. That could also be attributed to player experience, too.
I agree, I give a big high five to this player.
Great stuff love watching these vids… did you remember to adjust the win record for Macarena… didn’t seem like you did at the end of the video.
I’m pretty sure I changed it afterwards.
