Today’s Team: Bunker Soldiers
P/S Ominous Flame (Spiritfire Bolt, Scorched Earth, Foreboding Curse)
P/S Son Of Sethe (Plagued Blood, Touch Of The Animus, Drain Blood)
H/P Blighted Squirrel (Woodchipper, Crouch, Stampede)

Rationale:
I’ve been having so much success with Scorched Earth and TOTA that I was itchin’ to make another team. I was hoping to find a new Scorched Earth pet to have some fun with, but after a quick search (thanks to Rematch) I didn’t see anything too interesting besides the Ominous Flame. I guess I’m not in the mood for dragons or beetles, which isn’t to say that I won’t go back to those families later. For now, I went with the elemental again, paired with the Son Of Sethe. I was looking for a survivable pet that could apply a DoT. After considering a critter squirrel I decided to go with the security of an undead pet, the Blighted Squirrel. The plan is to get Scorched Earth going with the Ominous Flame then bring out the Son Of Sethe to apply TOTA and Plagued Blood. The Ominous Flame will then get healed from the Scorched Earth ticks. If things work out nicely then maybe the squirrel can get some heals as well.

Concerns:
With two undead pets a critter could be problematic.

The Opposing Team:
H/H Anubisath Idol
H/P Lil’ KT
H/H Lifelike Mechanical Frostboar

The Battle:
010915ANo critters, but there was the idol with its annoying sandy weather to deal with. It wasn’t as much of a problem Is I thought it might be. My elemental began the battle against Lil’ KT. Curse Of Doom was placed on the Ominous Flame after it cast Scorched Earth. In came the idol to a Foreboding Curse on the swap. It changed the weather to sandstorm. Thanks to the Foreboding Curse the Ominous Flame was able to do a significant amount of damage before dying to the CoD. Go Foreboding Curse! My Son Of Sethe killed the idol with one Plagued Blood then had to face the Liflike Mechanical Frostboar. Both pets could heal so the encounter took a while; in the end the Son Of Sethe’s heals won out over the mech boar’s heals and damage. Two Headbutts failed to proc, so that helped. So did the Son Of Sethe’s amazing healing power. Lil’ KT was the last pet my team had to face. Son of Sethe put up Plagued Blood before dying, the Blighted Squirrel easily took out Lil’ KT thanks to Stampede doing strong damage and the Plagued Blood heals.
