Today’s Team: Another Glorious Tuesday
P/S Jademist Dancer (Steam Vent, Rain Dance, Acid Rain)
H/P Blighthawk (Slicing Winds, Ghostly Bite, Cyclone)
P/P Sen’Jin Fetish (Shadow Slash, Immolate, Sear Magic)

Strategy:
I’ve gotten pounded by so many Idols tonight (including a few double Idol teams) that I need a good counter team. I think that the Jademist Dancer and Blighthawk combo will do a good job against Idols with the ability to change the weather and hit hard. I finally leveled up my P/S awhile back and this seems like the perfect time to use it. So many times the Dancer and Blighthawk can take out entire teams on their own but in case of any Idols I brought along the Sen’Jin for some extra anti-humanoid punch. The plan is to do the usual CloneDance strategy (Cyclone and Rain Dance) then slap any Idols in the face with the Fetish.

Concerns:
Without the speed of the my usual S/S Dancer this team feels slow.

The Opposing Team:
P/P Lil’ Deathwing
H/H Chrominius
P/S Amber Moth

The Battle:
012814ANo Idols to get my revenge on, dang. I need to update my most hated list, I could care less about Lil’ DW lately. The Amber Moth started which was smart since the two dragons in back will take weak damage from Cyclone. I stuck to plan by starting with Cyclone. Since I assumed the Amber Moth would Cocoon Strike on its second turn I swapped to the Dancer instead of using Ghostly Bite. Sure enough the Cocoon Strike came but the shield wastaken down immediately by Cyclone. My speed concerns were unwarranted as my 281 speed Dancer was faster than the Amber Moth (after the flying bonus was gone, of course). Rain Dance and two Steam Vents were enough for the Amber Moth. After that Chrominius came in to finish off the Dancer. The Blighthawk used another Cyclone then the rest of the battle was fairly straight forward. Chrominius killed the Blighthawk, the Fetish came in to kill Chrominius. I was a bit worried about Lil’ DW but the Sen’Jin was able to cleanse the Elementium Bolt then Shadow Slash spam caused Lil’ DW to die while my undead mask had 6 hp remaining. A close but somewhat boring battle. I guess Idols and Crawdads do serve a purpose, they give me something to hate and thus appreciate beating more that the average pet.
