Team Focus: Mousy Fakers
H/H Ghastly Kid (Hoof, Consume Corpse, Haunt)
S/S Prairie Mouse (Flurry, Poison Fang, Survival)
H/S Scalded Basilisk Hatchling (Crystal Prison, Feign Death, Thrash)

The general strategy is to Haunt with the kid, then stall with the basilisk. The mouse is there because it’s an underused pet that needs some love and it’s good against undead and especially MPDs.

3:20
win vs. Weebomination, Weebomination, Anubisath idol
I was scared in the end with all of my critter damage against the idol, but it played oddly by not using Sandstorm or its third slot move.

10:20
win vs. Fragment Of Anger, Fragment Of Suffering, Fragment of Desire
I had too much critter damage for this team to deal with.

15:15
loss vs. Fiendish imp, Enchanted Broom, Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
I go on and on about how I could have put my DoT on the MPD instead of using Survival, but I don’t think it would have made a big difference in the outcome. This team was just too fast for my basilisk.

22:50
win vs. Mr. Wiggles, Trunks, Teroclaw Hatchling
I call the person a scrub, feel bad for it, then go on to point out that I am a hypocrite for ever insulting anyone for rng heavy teams since I have 350 wins with Owngrinders (many of which were gained due to a gears proc).

30:50
win vs. Hogs, Hyjal Wisp, Dandelion Frolicker
I got complacent again, I will apparently never learn the lesson that if you don’t pay attention you can lose. I didn’t this time, but it was close.

Was I your inspiration for experimenting with ghastly kid graves so much? 😉 I’d use diseased bite on the kid btw when pairing him with a critter since you’ll have a really hard time taking out a well played imp, idol, or ore eater.

Nice video. Just a heads up: you have this listed as 1/2/16 instead of 1/13/16 on the battle’s page:

I love your more powerful Look What You Done Did Kid team (same as this but swap the mouse for a Fiendish Imp), but the basilisk really struggles against faster opponents, especially fast critters. Yes, Thrash hurts critters, but no stun (critter racial) and only 1.5 average Thrash hits means critters often win that matchup.

Yes, that team (Done Did Kid) is brutal for sure. The mouse has its moments but isn’t ever going to be a tier pet, it’s just fun to do something different once in a while.
