The Quick Three
I’m not feeling creative tonight, I’ll just knock out a few quick ones.
Battle 1: Ore Creeper
Fel Flame, Son Of Sethe, Ore Eater
vs. Fiendish Imp, Son Of Animus, Scourged Whelpling
The Ore Eater’s shield shut down a fair bit of the imp’s healing. This long thirty rounder was won because my opponent didn’t ever swap out when Touch Of The Animus was applied. This meant big heals for me. I still really hope that the Ore Eater’s shield gets nerfed; right now it feels way too powerful. I’m pretty sure the Ore Eater will still be an excellent pet with its speed, shield and DoT.

Battle 2: Sweeps McFlyboy
Zandalari Anklerender, Weebomination, Teroclaw Hatchling
vs. Fiendish Imp, Giant Bone Spider, Weebomination
I’m not sure what my opponent’s plan was, it seemed like there was a lot of swapping just for the sake of swapping. It wasn’t like “haha, I swapped you and now the DoT will kill you on the back line” it was more like “haha, I swapped you and… oh, that’s all”. I kept bringing my raptor back in every time it was swapped until it died, then I let the Weebomination do its Cleave thing. My bird got swapped in so I cast the HoT and brought the Weebomination back it. Eventually it took out the imp and the spider on the back line.

Battle 3: Will Anything Happen
Ancient Nest Guardian, Mongoose Pup, Ore Eater
vs. Jumping Spider, Leopard Tree Frog, Highlands Turkey
There was a single Frog Kiss proc but it didn’t do much for my opponent. On the next round the mech used a killing Wind-Up on the frog. My opponent wasted a Food Coma on a resilient mech. I didn’t need the Mongoose Pup.
