Team Focus: Lotto Losers
S/S Prairie Mouse (Flurry, Poison Fang, Survival)
P/S Mountain Panda (Bite, Rock Barrage, Burrow)
P/P Frostwolf Ghostpup (Scratch, Haunting Song, Ghostly Bite)

I’m loving the S/S Prairie Mouse and Frostwolf Ghostpup combo, but MPDs were still giving me grief. I wanted a barrage move to take down decoy; the panda fit the bill.

3:20
win vs. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Death Adder Hatchling, Bonkers
My opponent kept the MPD in against the mouse, bad idea.

8:20
win vs. Scourged Whelpling, Nexus Whelpling, Nordrassil Wisp
I should have put up the poison first like I usually do.

13:50
win vs. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Grommloc, Unborn Val’kyr
MPD = mouse prairie dessert? I’ll work on that one.

20:30
win vs. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Grommloc, Unborn Val’kyr
Instaflee.

21:20
win vs. Anubisath Idol, Crusher, Temple Snake
Damn snake killed my mouse! Thankfully I had Bite to damage the humans.

27:20
win vs. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Grommloc, Unborn Val’kyr
Instaflee.

29:25
win vs. Bonkers, Sunblade Micro-Defender, Firewing
Solid win.

35:50
win vs. Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Grommloc, Unborn Val’kyr
Instaflee.

The record looks good but 3 of the battles were instaflees. Lame.

The MPD, Grommloc, Valk team insta flees against me regularly as well.

    • Discodoggy says:

Have you ever battled that team without it running away? I battled them once and it seemed like a real personso I thought it wasn’t a “fleebot” as I call them, so I counted the wins. I don’t like to count wins from a fleebot, though. If it turns out to be one I will deduct the wins from my record.

      • Rhonstifor says:

They are not a fleebot. I have battled that team a few times with a few different teams. Once they lose to one of my teams, the next time they see it, the flee instantly.

Still lurking. Living my pet battles through you! :)

I’m sure I raved over Prairie Mouse numerous times, and I’m pretty certain that I was amongs those whoe suggested Mountain Panda. Love Rock Barrage against MPD.

I hope you did see more opinions than mine about the music question. :O Copyright and the automated YouTube system is a thing that I’ve read a lot of problems about, though.

It’s interesting that you say your meta is all-MPD, all the time. Mine is all Bone Serpent at the moment, and their Barrages keep the MPD population in check. Somebody call an ecologist…

Here are some numbers from 200 battles

    67 Bone Serpent
    44 Graves
    27 MPD
    18 Iron Starlette
    14 Foss. Hatch.
    13 Valk
    12 FoA

which accounts for 195 of the 600 opposing pets.

    • Discodoggy says:

It wan’t just you, I got some pretty adamant emails. Polite, but adamant.

Bone Serpent is tough, too. So many Iron Starlettes; they’ve all but disappeared on my meta.

    • Lyraat says:

Those numbers look closer to my meta than Discodoggy’s. If I dont see Graves three opponents in a row, Im feeling good. And, ya, Iron Starlettes are making a comeback.

      • Discodoggy says:

Just wondering if your metas have changed since you posted. Mine is all over the place.

        • Gráinne says:

I have only done my 10 wins in the last couple of weeks, and I have avoided Reset Day and the day following, which makes it quite a different meta.

So my data are sparse and not a full sample. For a comparison, though:

          Bone Serpent 7
          Teroclaw Hatchling 7
          Weeb 3
          Ghastly Kid 3
          Graves 3
          Crusher 3
          Stonegrinder 3
          FoA 3
          Frostwolf Ghostpup 3

So I wouldn’t call that any different

  4. Gráinne says:

I figure the Starlettes are a logical response to the large number of double and triple undead teams with no avoidance roaming around in my area. I play Starlettes quite a bit myself for that reason at the moment.
