The Quick Three
Long day. Three quick battles is all I’m up for.

Battle 1: Sun-Fu
Sunfire Kaliri, Celestial Dragon, Xu-Fu
vs. Ikky, Stunted Direhorn, Onyxian Whelpling

120914BThis was an ugly win from a team that I probably won’t use again. I don’t really like Xu-Fu or the Celestial Dragon much, I got caught up in creating synergy over functionality. I was about to choose the Spirit Crab instead of Xu-Fu as an anti-critter but I went with the beast instead. Deep Burn is seriously weak without the burning effect and with Flamethrower only lasting two rounds I didn’t get many shots for double damage off. I really deserved to lose this one but rng said otherwise; I hit all three of my 80% Moon Claws while my opponent missed two 85% Trihorn Charges. By the way, I really dislike the way some of the new bird’s wings go into the ground while they are battling.
Record: 1-0

Battle 2: Lowrightpunch
Fiendish Imp, Sen’Jin Fetish, Mountain Panda
vs. Flayer Youngling, Unborn Val’kyr, Fossilized Hatchling

120914CRng giveth and rng taketh away. An earlier crit from the flayer and a low hit from the imp meant the flayer killed the imp which was disastrous. The flayer was able to get a Kick and a Blitz off on the fetich, all with 1 hp. Lame. I took the valk to 0 hp, but the undead racial gave it the win. For the record, this team has been doing quite well for me these past few days.
Record: 1-1

Battle 3: Lowrightpunch
Fiendish Imp, Sen’Jin Fetish, Mountain Panda
vs. Lil’ Ragnaros, Iron Stalette, Arcane Eye

120914AI felt that I owed a team named after a member another chance. This battle went much better. The poor Iron Starlette never got off an attack. It cast Wind-Up and Supercharge but got forced out by the imp. Then when it swapped back in it took a Scratch and Rock Barrage tick to take it to Failsafe. The faster Mountain Panda finished off the remaining 280 hp with a Scratch. my opponent fled after that.
Record: 2-1

    Awesome, thanks for the shoutout!!

Glad to hear the unassuming Mountain Panda is working at least reasonably well. :) Imp/Fetish is so strong that it’s hard to find a “bad” third wheel, but I enjoy the diversity in his kit.

Now I feel like logging back in and queuing up! Time for sleep though.
