When You Cry
S/S Alpine Foxling (Flurry, Crouch, Dazzling Dance)
H/P Zomstrok (Infected Claw, Rot/Shell Shield, Carpnado)
H/P Trunks (Smash, Ethereal, Avalanche)

I was getting pounded pretty hard by the recent Graves/FoA/Bone Serpent/MPD revival, plus there was a Teroclaw hatchling running around so I brought out the S/S Alpine Foxling. The plan is pretty simple: start with the fox, give undead pets a big dose of Flurry, then bring in Zomstrok and Trunks at the end for some big damage Avalanche and Carpnado. I suppose since I use Shell Shield so infrequently that Rot is the better choice, but I still remember Shell Shield being good so I have trouble not taking it. For these battles I inadvertently had Rot when I started so I stuck with it.

3:35
win vs. Graves, Fragment Of Anger, MPD
A close win against an incredibly tough team. Nice work!

9:45
win vs. Unborn Val’kyr, Unborn Val’kyr, Unborn Val’kyr
Three valks = fox food.

15:05
win vs. Fel Pup, Fragment Of Anger, Ghastly Rat
This was surprisingly difficult.

20:35
loss vs. Graves, Fragment Of Anger, MPD
This time my opponent didn’t start with the MPD, which turned out to be a great call. I got beaten badly.

Bonus Battle
23:35 – Rick Frostly
Graves, Ghastly Kid, Frostwolf Ghostpup
win vs. Graves, Fragment Of Anger, MPD

I couldn’t accept the last loss gracefully and went straight to a revenge team. I got revenge, which is a dish best served while watching your opponent’s three powerful pets run away.

I confess that I watched this and the last with an unworthy smirk. 😛

You have often said something like “people say there are lots of Graves around, but I’m not seeing them” or “my meta is quiet”. I kept wondering how I could get into a server group like that, when I was seeing 50%-80% Graves / triple Undead / Healing teams from my opponents.

Nice work winning with Done Did Kid. That’s a great team, but has its work cut out against a Graves And The Evil Undead combo.
