Today’s Team: Death Goose Hatchling Two
S/S Mongoose Pup (Gnaw, Survival, Dive)
S/S Silver Dragonhawk Hatchling (Quills, Conflagrate, Flamethrower)
H/H Spirit Crab (Snap, Whirlpool, Shell Shield)

Strategy:
This is another team designed to beat Death Adder teams. Both the Mongoose and Dragonhawk are 357 speed which is faster than the 341 speed S/S Death Adder. When your pet is faster than the Adder it’s not at such a disadvantage from Blinding Poison. The Crab is on the team to add some bulk and a little bit of power.

Concerns:
Both the Mongoose Pup and Dragonhawk are less than 1400 hp so they’re quite fragile.

The Opposing Team:
P/P Emperor Crab
S/S Death Adder Hatchling
S/S Blue Clockwork Rocket Bot
Oh yeah, time to pay snakie!

The Battle:
I started with the Dragonhawk which faced the Rocket Bot. The hawk used Flamethrower then Conflag as the Bot set up a Rocket and fired a Missile. Quills came next which a took the Bot to 0 hp and then some, but didn’t finish it off due to only hitting two Quills. The mech launched its Rocket then expired to Quills. The Emperor Crab was next and one would think that the strong Quills would put a hurtin’ on it, but that wasn’t the case thanks to the powerful shield. Even with the Dragonkin bonus the Quills didn’t do much damage and what damage was done was healed through. The Emperor finished the Dragonhawk off easily. Ok, tough guy, it’s Spirit Crab time. You are Emperor of NOTHING! Ok, it wasn’t that bad, but the Spirit Crab did come out on top with a few hundred hp to spare.

The Death Adder was next up, it blinded my Spirit Crab so I swapped to the Mongoose. It took a Poison Fang on the swap but was able to Dive to avoid the Puncture Wound. A few Gnaws later it was Blinding Poison time again, but after the Mongoose was blinded it cast Survival to live long enough to take out the Adder. A successful anti-Adder strategy!
