Today’s Team: Blood Dance
H/P Snarly (Rip, Surge, Blood In The Water)
H/P Infested Bear Cub (Infected Bite, Hibernate, Maul)
S/S Jademist Dancer (Steam Vent, Rain Dance, Geyser)

Strategy:
Snarly and the Bear haven’t seen much action lately so I decided to make a new bleed team with the Dancer. Bleeding teams work like this: apply the bleed effect with Rip, then try to nail the bleeding pet with a Blood In The Water or a Maul. There’s not a lot of Synergy with the Jademist Dancer. My idea when creating the team was that Rain Dance would get the bleed to crit, but that’s not really adding much. It’s really a case of just throwing a good third pet in there, which sometimes can lead to great results. Unfortunately I played about eight or nine battle with this team yesterday using Acid Rain, it only won about half. I’m gonna switch to Geyser in the hopes that the stun could buy me a turn to Hibernate.

Concerns:
Snarly and the Infested Bear Cub just don’t shine like they did in 5.3. Also I’m overloaded on aquatic attacks. Infected Bite is 90% but I swear that move hates me. I’ve ended up with so many draws thanks to Infected Bite missing, but now I’m just being superstitious.

The Opposing Team:
P/B Spawn Of Onyxia
S/B Clockwork Gnome
P/S Fossilized Hatchling

The Battle:
121213BGeyser was the difference, who knew? I decided to start with the Dancer to get off a buffed Geyser if I could. The Dancer had to face the Fossilized Hatchling. I realized that if I put a Geyser down the dragon might come in to Lift but I chanced it anyways. The undead raptor stayed in to watch me Geyser/Dance/Vent/Vent/pow Geyser goes off to bring it to 0 hp and skip its undead round due to the stun. I took advantage and swapped to Snarly on the undead round. Possibly bad play by my opponent, but I’m ahead now. The Onyxian Whelpling is next, it cast Scorched Earth while Snarly Ripped. A Surge and a Lift happen so I swap to the Bear. My opponent knows better and swaps to the Gnome rather than take a bleeding Maul. I swap back to Snarly to Rip again, now both opposing pets are bleeding. The Gnome tries to Repair but Blood In The Water and a Surge are too much while it waits for the heal. Snarly finished off the Whelpling to end it at 15 rounds.
