Today’s Team: Celestial Burning
P/P Emerald Proto-Whelp (Emerald Bite, Ancient Blessing, Emerald Dream)
H/S Harmonious Porcupette (Scratch, Celestial Blessing, Tranquility)
S/S Fiendish Imp (Burn, Immolation, Nether Gate)

Strategy:
Once again the EPW will get some support from the Porcupette’s Blessing and Tranquility. With its longer life it can dish out some nice 341 power damage. With the exception of mechs, which take weak damage from Emerald Bite. That’s what the Imp is for. Burn will do some nice elemental damage and give some control through Nether Gate.

Concerns:
Both of my damage dealers are a bit fragile, I’m not sure the Porcupette can keep up.

The Opposing Team:
S/B Ashwing Moth
B/B Chuck
H/P Infested Bear Cub

The Battle:
This is a very scary team to face. Chuck is a great stand alone pet (although Snarly is better choice imo). Put the croc with the Infested Bear Cub and you have some serious bleed potential. And then there’s that Moth. I personally think Moths are on the lame side. If they hit their sleep they are PvP gods, if not they are sort of meh. I don’t like depending on that sort of rng so I stopped using them, but that rng can hurt me bad. Good for me, I’ve gone months without ranting about moths lol. I guess that streak is over.

121013AGetting on to the battle, it started as the Imp versus Chuck. The Bear was in the second slot so I didn’t want to Gate it out yet. The Imp used Immolation and Chuck applied the bleed with Rip. Next turn the Imp Gated out the croc. I swapped to the Porcupette who had to take a Maul. I wanted to use the buffs but that undead bear was too juicy of a target. After one strong Scratch my opponent took the Bear out for the Moth. The Moth used Dust but didn’t sleep so I was able to use Blessing and then Tranquility then bring my dragon in.

121013BMy opponent quickly swapped to Chuck who died quickly to a regular then racialed Emerald Bite. Then I made a mistake. I thought my shield would protect me against the bleeding Maul but it still did 500 damage thanks to a crit. I tried to heal myself with an Ancient Blessing and Emerald Dream but the Bear crit again to take my dragon out. The Harmonious Porcupette came in, got a Scratch off, then was able to put up both buffs thanks to a missed Diseased bite. After it died the Imp Gated out the Bear, denying it the undead turn. The Imp was shielded and getting healed so it was easy to take out the Moth.
