Today’s Team: Son Of Disease
P/B Infected Fawn (Flurry, Adrenaline Rush, Death and Decay)
H/P Blighted Squirrel (Woodchipper, Crouch, Rabid Strike)
P/P Son Of Animus (Metal Fist, Touch Of The Animus, Extra Plating)
Good to back after a few days off.

Strategy:
There are so many great undead that both the Blighted Squirrel and the Infected Fawn don’t get much play in PvP. I think they’re both interesting and viable pets. For this team I decided to use both of their DoTs along with Touch Of The Animus. The plan is to get one of (or preferably both of) the undead DoTs going then apply Touch to get some healing from the ticks. I go back and forth between Rabid Strike and Stampede with the Blighted Squirrel. Both have pros and cons. Rabid Strike doesn’t lock you in to three rounds like Stampede, but Stampede applies a better debuff. The Stampede debuff causes 100% received for two rounds while Rabid Strike causes 50% damage received and 25% damage given for three rounds.

Concerns:
Rabid Strike can hurt me if I’m not careful. Having two of the same family is dangerous.

The Opposing Team:
H/B Disgusting Oozeling
P/S Giant Bone Spider
P/S Nuts
The critter might cause some problems.

The Battle:
120113BI knew Nuts was going to do a lot of damage so I was hoping to gain some back with Touch. Nut Barrage started taking its toll right away against my Infected Fawn. I laid down Death and Decay then swapped to the Blighted Squirrel for Woodchipper. Now that both DoTs were going I swapped to Animus but unfortunately all of the critter attacks from nuts had done some big damage. Animus applied the Touch, both undead were healed for around 170. Nuts died on the next round so I didn’t get a lot of use from Touch this time. It takes really good timing to make full use of it.

120113AThe next opponent was the Spider which used its own DoT and then Death Gripped Animus out. I had used Extra Plating to ensure that Animus didn’t die on the back line. My Blighted Squirrel and the Bone Spider both applied DoTs then my opponent swapped to the Oozeling. The Oozeling was able to finish off my Squirrel so I brought Animus back in to use Touch before it died. The Fawn came in to Flurry the Oozeling to death. It only needed two out of three Flurries, which healed for a total of around 340. Nice. The final showdown was Fawn versus Bone Spider which was no contest thanks to strong Flurries. Sometimes my Touch strategy fails but this time it worked well.
