Disco’s Three
I’m tentative about changing the title of this category to “The Disco Three” from “The Quick Three” because it reminds me of the Fat Boys, so I decided to go with “Disco’s Three” instead. Hmm, I wonder what other formats I can change the name of? Time for a list!

Quickvid – I like it.
The Quick Three – changed to Disco’s Three
Pet Focus – okay I guess
Team Focus – okay I guess
Today’s Team – I don’t do this much anymore, but used to be my “go-to” daily. It’s usually the most informative, I should go back to it. A very boring title.
Five Wins Or Bust – I like it
Seeking A Third – it’s fine
5.friday – I like it, even though I’ve only done it once
Topless Battles – I love the name, I need to go topless more
Mini Tryouts – I used to differentiate between new teams and and previously created teams (Team Focus), but there’s really no need for that, thus no need for this category.
Gone Wildin’ – I should go back to this, it’s really fun. I only use wild caught pets.
What I’ve Been Training For – Wow, did I really have time to write up ten plus battles in a single day? What universe was that in? I could go back to this if I ever have time on a Tuesday. Maybe a sick day lol.
Obsolete Categories: Challenge Mode, Batrep, A Day In The Queue.

Oops, I got distracted and forgot I was trying to come up with new names. Stupid morning write-ups. I guess the only thing that could use a change is “Today’s Team”. Or maybe it’s fine. I’ll think about it. Let me stop going on about nothing and get to Disco’s Three:

1:08 – The Warriors
Macabre Marionette, Vengeful Porcupette, Puddle Terror
win vs. Graves, Nexus Whelpling, Zao

5:20 – The Warriors
Macabre Marionette, Vengeful Porcupette, Puddle Terror
win vs. Fragment Of Anger, Alpine Foxling, Trunks

10:25 – The Warriors
Macabre Marionette, Vengeful Porcupette, Puddle Terror
loss vs. Fragment Of Anger, Alpine Foxling, Trunks

I’ll be doing POTM battles today so be on the lookout for the Servant Of Demidos. I call no MPDs. I called it, you can’t use them!

The video has been processing a long time, I’m not sure why. Maybe I’ll have to re-upload it later.

Pure joy Spirit Spikes vs Nexus Whelpling. Protection from the big hit while doing double damage in return.

Another testimony to that effect…i faced 3 x nexus whelp with my comp of
mr wiggles/ alpine foxling and vengful porc.

The porcupette was the difference…Note that Mr wiggles couldnt stun with the weather but 2 pets with crouch and Veng Porc spirit spikes was glorious…

Admittedly, 3x nexus whelpling players tend not to think much in their matches…they likely hope opponents just flee

I had a question for Vek or anyone who might know…I just passed 2500 pet pvp wins and I wondered if after the 5k mark there is another pet pvp achieve total (10k?).

I wondered if I could ever complete all the battlepet achieves…10k wins would be inconceivably difficult to attain imo.

Another ‘triple threat’ match i had this weak was vs a 3x foss hatch…after my p/b alpine foxling put down some flurry hurt then crouched..they fled

Maybe it’s wrong, but part of me feels good beating these teams..the hope is they’ll back away from the lack of creativity in team comps if they lose more often.. i suppose

As an aside, Disco, I notice you hover over your and your enemy’s portraits checking stats occasionally. There’s an add-on called ‘Battle Pet Battle Stats’ that shows the active pets’ stats (health as a percentage) along the bottom of each unit frame and will update as stats change. Also changes the big ‘VS.’ symbol in the middle to display the current round of the battle that you’re in.

Just a small quality of life add-on, but I’ve found that I really like it. =)

I don’t mind mousing over, and I like to try and memorize as much as possible. Does it keep track of failsafe? I’ve lost too many battles due to forgetting if I’ve already taken a mech to 0 health.

I know that Derangement’s Pet Battle Cooldowns off of Curse does a better job of tracking abilities used by your opponent, including the heals that some time don’t track with your current addon setup in the videos.

Also I know it tracks the pet buffs (like Fiendish Imp Immolate) if it swaps out or pet racials (so you know when a Flying pet on the backline loses the speed bonus or a Beast pet now does increased damage). I believe it even tracks the Failsafe for Mechs (adds an icon).

        This addon is extremely powerful.
