The Quick Three
I don’t have a lot of time to spare right now, let me knock this out quick with some top-flight teams.

Battle 1: Trihard Shield
Fiendish Imp, Warbot, Direhorn Runt
vs. Searing Scorchling, Rapana Whelk, Xu-Fu
When I play against elementals with my Warbot most of the time my opponent tries to force a favorable match-up by brining in the elemental to face my mech. That’s usually a good thing for me because that means the elemental won’t be able to soak the big Minefield damage. That’s exactly what happened here, so both the snail and Xu-Fu had to eat the Minefield. At the end the Rapana Whelk gave me a scare due to a missed Trihorn Charge but I still managed to win.
Record: 1-0

Battle 2: Battlegropers
Jademist Dancer, Blighthawk, Snarly
vs. Chi-chi, Xu-Fu, Spring Rabbit
This was a fast one. Cyclone, Ghostly Bite, swap, Acid Rain then Steam Vent times six ended up with Xu-Fu and Chi-Chi dead. The rabbit ran. I really pressed my luck there with the unbuffed Steam Vents. They all hit.

Battle 3: Lolkin Bonus
Nexus Whelpling, Nexus Whelpling, Nexus Whelpling
vs. Unborn Val’kyr, Stitched Pup, Death Adder Hatchling
I felt like being silly for this last battle. This triple Nexus Whelpling team makes for really fast battles, win or lose. There’s two types of pets that this team is bad against: undead and mechanical. We’ll here’s two undead for you. Not just any two, the overplayed Unborn Val’kyr and it’s cheesy sidekick the Stitched Pup. Let’s throw in the op DAH and we have a team that I named Total Cheese. Even with the Mana Surges putting up big numbers this wasn’t even close. I should have stuck with my original idea of running top-flight teams. I re-queued with a Fledgling Buzzard, Mongoose Pup and Warbot for some revenge but ended up beating up some unfortunate battler with a Darkmoon Tonk. Oh well, perhaps I can get revenge tomorrow.
