Topless Battles
No top-tier pets allowed tonight.

Battle 1: Ashey Larry
Macabre Marionette, Ashleaf Spriteling, Young Talbuk
vs. Swamp Croaker, Tiny Firefly, Feral Vermling

042315CWhenever I look for Wild Magic pets I always pass up the Ashleaf Spriteling, it just doesn’t have much appeal to me. I decided to play it just for novelty’s sake and it ended up filling its role well. It was able to apply a DoT plus Wild Magic then back line for some humanoid healing, then later come back to apply Wild Magic to enhance the damage from Bone Barrage and Death and Decay. The Young Talbuk took out the frog’s decoy with the amazing Flurry.
Record: 1-0

Battle 2: Roger Bones
Macabre Marionette, Ashleaf Spriteling, Scarab Hatchling
vs. Teroclaw Hatchling, Bone Serpent, Scourged Whelpling

042315AOuch, I got pounded in this battle. The Teroclaw Hatchling has made it to my list of most hated pets. The bird battles just take too damn long. Well, usually; that wasn’t the case here, I was out of the running pretty quickly. By the time the Teroclaw Hatchling was done with its initial appearance I had lost a pet and a half. Then it merrily went on on its way to the back line to heal. The Bone Serpent and Scourged Whelpling easily took out the other one and a half pets as the Teroclaw Hatchling healed.
Record: 1-1

Battle 3: Split Head Soup
Restless Shadeling, Corefire Imp, Westfall Chicken
vs. Droplet Of Y’Shaarj, Weebomination, Scourged Whelpling

042315BUgg. Due to a busy life I’ve been doing the daily late and I’ve been tired, especially tonight. So as this battle against some big time pets was concluding I was thinking about how I was happy to force a draw and how I’m even happier to go to bed afterwards. As the undead pets stared each other down on the immortal round I realized that all I would have had to do was cast Phase Shift against the Weebomination and I would have won. My fatigue made me forget that I had an avoidance move, hilarious. Sucks to be me. How did I even get to that point with my second rate team? I was really lucky with the Egg Barrage, Wild Magic made it that much better. Squawk was also very useful.
Record: 1-1-1

    Yet another bug:

My Ghastly Kid Haunted a Fossilized Hatchling in its Undead round to avoid taking damage. The Hatchling did more stupid OP Bonestorm, and died, the Kid returned to the front automatically and had all abilities available. I made it do Haunt, which strangely was available. Nothing happened and the turn was lost…
