Topless Battles
It’s time to give some attention to some less used pets.

Battle 1: Split Head Soup
Corefire Imp, Restless Shadeling, Westfall Chicken
vs. Unborn Val’kyr, Anubisath Idol, Lil’ Ragnaros

041215CIf you told me before I started that I would two-pet this battle I would not have believed you. Running a 276 speed Restless Shadeling with Dodge is always a risk; it was a risk that paid off because it was faster than all of the opposing pets. I started the battle with the Restless Shadeling in the hopes of getting the valk to waste its CoD. It worked, I cast Dodge and avoided the CoD. Then my opponent suprised me by casting Haunt into the second round of the avoidance. Oops. After that Lil’ Ragnaros replaced the valk. I brought in the chicken to watch the critter and elemental cancel each other out. Luckily there were no traps. The Restless Shadeling then killed both the valk and the idol. A kill shot Shadow Shock crit on the idol helped my cause immensely.

Battle 2: Blighted Bambi
Infected Fawn, Scarab Hatchling, Ominous Flame
vs. Lil’ Tarecgosa, Nordrassil Wisp, Nexus Whelpling

041215BMany, many times the Ominous Flame has failed me. This time it was a super hero. I started with the my undead to lay down Death and Decay as it took a Flash. I swapped to the Ominoius Flame since I didn’t want Light to hit my fawn twice while blindeda. My elemental then took out the wisp before doing some great damage to Lil’ Tarecgosa before it swapped to the Nexus Whelpling. With the two hard hitting dragons I had to be careful. I saved the Infected Fawn for last since it could withstand a Surge Of Power. It didn’t even need to take advantage of the undead racial since Flurry hit all three times twice in row to end the battle before Lil’ Tarecgosa could cast Surge Of Power. Rng has been on my side these past few days.
Record: 2-0

Battle 3: Unmitigated
Tiny Flamefly, Cogblade Raptor, Infected Fawn
vs. Anubisath Idol, Chrominius, Frostwolf Ghostpup

041215ASandstorm, ouch. The only way I was going to be able to take out the idol was with the assistance of Exposed Wounds. The valiant Cogblade Raptor brought the idol down to 11 health before dying; I consider that a success. Now for the other two pets. It ended up being a disappointing loss because I made a bad swap. I let the fly finish off the idol then I brought the Infected Fawn to fight the Frostwolf Ghostpup. It was a bad move. Even though I was doing strong damage with Flurry, Scratch was doing strong damage to me. The FGP survived long enough to do some damage to the fly, which left it without enough health to take care of Chrominius.
Record: 2-1
