Today’s Team: Bel Biv D’adder
P/P Jade Oozeling (Absorb, Creeping Ooze, Acid Goo)
S/S Death Adder Hatchling (Poison Fang, Puncture Wound, Blinding Poison)
P/P Mechanical Scorpid (Barbed Stinger, Puncture Wound, Extra Plating)

Rationale:
Oh wow, there’s so much that can be done with this shiny new Mechanical Scorpid! I decided to go with the obvious poison team for the write-up today since I’m in a hurry. I’m a quest away from a level 3 lumber mill so I’m going to keep it short. The adder is here for its ability to poison. Hopefully the P/P Mechanical Scorpid can unload a Puncture Wound into a pet that the adder poisons. I’ve used the scorpid on a few teams with Wind-Up and Puncture Wound, but that can be tricky so I’m keeping it simple. I included the Jade Oozeling since flyers are a soft counter to all of my beast damage and elementals counter the mech; the Jade Oozeling counter both with Acid Goo and Creeping Ooze.

Concerns:
With all of my DoTs a sandstorm or shield will be a major PITA.

The Opposing Team:
P/P Murkalot
H/H Magical Crawdad
P/P Ragnaros

The Battle:
112414AThree pets that are either broken or debatably broken, you should not be proud of any victory. You will hear me complain about traps until the end of time. I will be on my death bed asking my grand children “did they fix traps yet? No? $#@% rag! I wanted to keep it short, but this 45 round battle was anything but that. I was worried about shields, well the dirty crawdad had shields along with Wish. Ugh. I’m not going through the blow by blow for 45 rounds, I’ll say that I was never really in contention to win, besides one bright spot where my mech scorpid crit. I got Barbed Stinger to proc only one out of many, many attempts. In this battle I would have been much better off with Wind-Up. Just to show me what type of person my opponent was, rather than kill me off my opponent cast Wish and refreshed their shields just to stall a bit and gloat. Hey, at least I killed two pets. Just for the record, I immediately requeued with Beaking Out (a clonedance/Junglebeak team) and destroyed them. Even with Magma Wave to get rid of the Cyclone it was an easy win that made the crawdad run. Revenge.
