The Quick Three
I’m gonna keep it short as I still have a lot of leveling to do.
Battle 1: Spore Adder Sporeling
Umbrafen Spore, Nether Fairie Dragon, Fiendish Imp
vs. Lil’ Ragnaros, Cenarion Hatchling, Lil’ Tarecgosa
Although this isn’t my preferred breed of the new spore pets it’s the only one I have so far. I kid with the name of this team, the spores with their Blinding Powder aren’t as nearly as bad as the adder was. They don’t have the offensive power that the snakes had. Still, that blind can be useful. In this battle it prevented rag from doing the massive damage of a burning Conflagrate. The speed and control of my team was too much for the opposing team to deal with. I forgot to put my transmogged gear back on, boy do I look bad!
Record: 1-0
Battle 2: Terroscurry
Terrorclaw Hatchling. Frostwolf Ghostpup, Prairie Mouse
vs. Blighted Squirrel, Water Waveling, Nexus Whelpling
I’m coming to love Refuge more and more. The Frostwolf Ghostpup and Prairie Mouse has been my stand out combo over the last few days. I should mention that the combo punishes mistakes brutally; when you mess up things go bad fast. You have to time your Refuge, Ghostly Bite and Survival just right, but that’s what makes it so fun. In this battle I didn’t mess up, I used the blocks and the avoid/heal of the bird very well. I just leveled the bird today, but so far the Dodge and Nature’s Ward combo has been very successful. I had hardly taken much damage after ten rounds so my opponent fled.
Record: 2-0
Battle 3: The Exemplary
Frostwolf Ghostpup, Prairie Mouse, Shimmershell Snail
vs. Lil’ Ragnaros, Cenarion Hatchling, Lil’ Tarecgosa
I countered the opposing team really well so this was a straightforward victory. My mouse did well with the Flurries, hitting all three on multiple occasions. Lil’ Tarecgosa never had a chance to use Surge Of Power thanks to Flurry taking it out prematurely. The snail’s Acid Touch was brutal on the Cenarion Hatchling. With two critters the hard-hitting Lil’ Ragnaros was somewhat contained. Apparently I’m really into gigantic pics in WoD (and my new laptop :)).

Good to have you back disco. That pup+mouse+other team combo seems really nice, will try it out after getting to 100. Have not yet focused on pet aspect so far, other than making a plushie and a soul of the forge and levelling my own ghostpup when running into PvE trainers. Also got a Ancient Nest Guardian up in archy… need lots of pieces though.
I’m worried about getting to 100 before the 10th anniversary stuff, I really want to get that MC pet! I really haven’t started yet in WoD but I definitely look forward to the new battles, trainers and various garrison pets.
And of course Disco to put them into interesting PVP teams
Ahhhhh I need to make a plushie on an alt. And the new mech engineering pets on another alt. So much to do. I’m really enjoying leveling and playing Discodoggy (my main) again in WoD so it may be a while before I feed my altoholism. I think my engineer will be next for the mech pets.
Oh btw, which breeds were you using for the above? Here’s an idea for an article (after you’re done levelling lol no rush) but which pets you’re thinking are going to be awesome and which breeds of each one you would pick.
Just realized the ghostpup is only P/P…mouse S/S for 325 speed?
I wrote an article on which pets that I think will do well, but it was before WoD hit so I didn’t have all of the breed info.

A follow-up with breed info may be in order after the meta devolops.
Nice article thanks! Son of Sethe sure looks good!
