I’m really bored with using all of my competitive teams. I’ll make up some new ones and see how far I can get.

Game 1 (Bored Team One)
Nether Ray Fry, Son Of Animus, Scourged WHelpling
vs. Darkmoon Tonk, Sunreaver Micro-Sentry, Onyxian Whelpling

090513EI’m sort of tired right now, but I didn’t realize I was this tired. I thought Lash was a DoT and that’s why I chose the Nether Ray Fry to be on this team. Oops. It turned out to be quite alright in this case, Lash really put a hurt on the Tonk. The Scourged Whelpling solo’d the Sunreaver and Animus easily took out the Onyxian Whelpling with Plagued Blood and Touch healing. I’ll try to pay more attention next time.

Game 2 (Bored Team Two)
Leopard Scorpion, Son Of Animus, Scourged Whelpling
vs. Kun-Lai runt, Cockroach, Amber Moth

090513BOkay, this time I got it right, Sting is actually a DoT like I wanted. I got a huge amount of healing on the Scorpion due to Plagued Blood and Touch. I actually soaked the Deep Freeze with the Scorpion in the hopes that I would gain back the hp with the Sting and it worked. This was a very close one, I was able to win due to the strong attacks against the Cockroach in the end.

Game 3 (Bored Team Three)
Lil’ Bad Wolf, Crimson Lasher, Shrine Fly
vs. Gilnean Raven, Disgusting Oozeling, Spirit Of Competition

090513AMy plan here was to get down the Stun Seed and then either Howl or Swarm to put up some big numbers. It started off Spirit of Competition vs. my Lasher. Immediately my plan was in jeopardy since the Spirit could Lift on the turn the Seed would hit. After using my heal and DoT I decided to try anyways. I threw down the Seed then swapped to my Wolf. I was sure the Lift was coming so I didn’t Howl, but for some reason my opponent swapped to the Raven and got stunned, one turn later it lost the Flying bonus. My opponent chose to be a stellar human being and go afk after that. Aint the internet grand.

Game 4 (Bored Team Three)
Lil’ Bad Wolf, Crimson Lasher, Shrine Fly
vs. Kun-Lai Runt, Amber Moth, Tundra Penguin

090513DSince the last opponent bailed on me I wanted to give this team another shot. Facing this Tundra Penguin had me worried. With a nuke combo like I’m trying to pull off the accuracy debuff had me worried. If I take two or three turns trying to set something up and it misses then that’s obviously a waste of two or three turns. Thankfully that didn’t happen, I was able to hit both of my Stun Seeds while Slippery Ice was down, one while Shattered Defenses was up. At the end I had a full health Wolf to take out an almost dead Penguin. I missed a killshot but I was so far ahead it didn’t matter.

Game 5 (Flayed Ones)
Flayer Youngling, Scourged Whelpling, Son Of Animus
vs. Fiendish Imp, Magical Crawdad, Jade Tentacle

090513FI saw the Crawdad and knew I was in for trouble. My only hard hitting damage comes from my Son Of Animus so I needed to force that match up. That part worked out, I was able to eventually down the Crawdad with the Animus, but the Imp turned out to be troublesome. The Jade Tentacle had a Shield so even that thwarted my DoTs. It ended up being a 41 rounder that came down to the last hit with the Imp killing my Animus with around 200 hp left. I guess that I should have kept making up new teams.

Game over.

Final Score: 4
