Game 1 (Nerf My Smurf)
Xu-Fu, Nether Fairie Dragon, Fiendish Imp
vs. Magical Crawdad, Singing Sunflower, Unborn Val’kyr

I knew that my Moonlight would help this annoying healing team. Oh well, I still had to go for it. My Dragonkin bonus helped me take out the Sunflower in round 22 and my opponent ran away even though I still thought they might win. I forgot my usual screenshot of the battle, oops.

Game 2 (Double Fairies)
Nether Fairie Dragon, Nether Fairie Dragon, Sen’Jin Fetish
vs. Menagerie Custodian, Sporeling Sprout, Lesser Voidcaller

091213CI love when someone puts up a Prismatic Barrier on the turn before Curse Of Doom hits. Makes sense. Usually when people block their own Curse of Doom they will run right away but not this time. They stuck around to see the Dragonkin racial kick some serious butt. It allowed me to take out both the Sprout and the Voidcaller fairly quickly, although the Fetish helped a bit on the Sporeling. The Menagerie Custodian ran.

Game 3 (Needs More Crab)
Xu-Fu, Nether Fairie Dragon, Spirit Crab
vs. Snarly, Infested Bear Cub, Amber Moth

091213EAs you can probably tell I’m still loving my Xu-Fu and Fairie combo, though I’m glad that I had the Crab this battle. I was able to soak the Blood In The Water with all of that hp and my Shell Shield shut down the Bleed damage. I swapped out for my Xu-Fu and hit a Prowled Feed on the Infested Bear that came in to Maul me. Combined with the Whirlpool from the Crab the Feed took the Infested Bear out. Whenever I kill an Infested Bear Cub I’m sad. I have a ridiculous sense of ownership around that pet lol. There was a Snarly versus Crab replay then my Fairie Dragon took out the Moth.

Game 4 (Obvious Dragons)
Xu-Fu, Nether Fairie Dragon, Emerald Proto-Whelp
vs. Menagerie Custodian, Lil’ Deathwing, Celestial Dragon

091213BMy Dragonkin beat up your Dragonkin. It started out with the Menagerie Custodian against my Beast and my opponent used Ion Cannon on the first turn. I Prowled then Fed and ended up with more hp than the Custodian. I brought in the Fairie Dragon who took out the Custodian with weak attacks. Deathwing came in to make me afraid of Darkness so I went back to Xu-Fu. I took Deathwing out with a Spirit Claw crit then finished off the Celestial Dragon with my Emerald Proto-Whelp.

Game 5 (Lolkin Bonus)
Nexus Whelpling, Nexus Whelpling, Nexus Whelpling
vs. Fiendish Imp, Crawling Claw, Darkmoon Tonk

091213DYou had to see this coming sooner or later. This is the reason I leveled up a third Nexus Whelpling at the end of 5.3. Now I have two P/Ps and a P/S, although I really should drop the P/S for another P/P. The Imp missed a Gate to start off, the Claw missed a Death Grip, I missed two Mana Surges. I think the misses hurt my opponent more than me. The weak attacks against the Tonk still hit hard due to, yes you guessed right, the Dragonkin bonus. A silly team for sure.

Game 6 (Fairiekin Bonus)
Nether Fairie Dragon, Nether Fairie Dragon, Nether Fairie Dragon
vs. Magical Crawdad, Unborn Val’kyr, Darkmoon Tonk

091213AI also leveled up a third Fairie Dragon in 5.3 for this silly team. It’s getting late, seemed like a good time to try it. Since I was using a less competitive team this is probably one of the few times that I don’t mind losing to the lamer Crawdad. I am a bit concerned about the Unborn Valk, though. I intentionally died so I could kill it while it was Haunting me but it just came back to life on the back line. If this is working properly now then that’s a really powerful move as it lost one of its counters. I can’t say I like this change. A perfectly timed loss, its just about bedtime. I’ll have to ponder the Unborn Val’kyr tomorrow.

Game over.

Final Score: 5
