Game 1 (Bring Out The Rock)
Fiendish Imp, Scourged Whelpling, Pebble
vs. Summit Kid, Anodized Robo Cub, Feline Familiar

072613CdatecorrectionI recently replaced my Fel Flame with Pebble on my best DoT team to see how it goes. So far, so good. Rock Barrage interacts nicely with Plagued Blood, each of the DoT ticks gives you a small heal, which adds up to a lot. As far as this battle goes there’s not much to report. I started with Imp, then went to Scourged Whelpling, then finished it with Pebble. There was no need for the Imp to come back out.

Game 2 (Bring Out The Rock)
Fiendish Imp, Scourged Whelpling, Pebble
vs. Arctic Fox Kit, Gregarious Grell, Unborn Val’kyr

072613DI had fun with this team so I decided to play again with Pebble. This time against a Dazzling Dancer. I’ve always used Dance so my stuns can go first, but my opponent apparently really wanted the Grell’s Dodge to go first. The Valk doesn’t see much of a benefit from it. The Imp being slower did present a few problems, but it ended up as a win.

Game 3 (Sears And Robot)
Spirit Crab, Sen’Jin Fetish, Warbot
vs. Celestial Dragon, Alpine Chipmunk, Clockwork Gnome

072613EI did a lot of switching in the beginning against the Gnome, I don’t know if that was wise. I put down a Minefield with my Warbot, swapped to the Fetish for Immolation, then swapped to my Crab. Luckily the Crab was able to kill the Gnome before it got a repair off, so I guess it worked out. The Chipmink came in to eat the Mines, got two strong Snaps to the face and was gone. Cleaning up the Dragon wasn’t hard.

Game 4 (Bandibot)
Bandicoon, Gilded Moth, Warbot
vs. Silky Moth, Kun-Lai Runt, Cogblade Raptor

072613FI threw down some Mines and put in the Moth against the Cogblade Raptor. It hit its Dust and Sleep, the helpless Raptor had to take a few Alpha Strikes in a row. After the Mech expired my opponent brought out the runt and Chilled my Moth so I brought in the Bandicoon to take the Freeze. Seriously damaged by the Mines, I decided to try and finish off the Runt rather than swap and let Deep Freeze refresh. It works. Finally it was the opposing Moth against my Warbot, I finished it off, “No Timing” my opponent. I got a Flawless Stone out of the deal.

Game 5 (The Other Daryll)
Spirit Crab, Bandicoon, Corefire Imp
vs. Anubisath Idol, Deathy, Curious Wolvar Pup

072613GI see this team and let out a sigh. There goes my nice run. But then I remember the times I’ve beaten Sandstorm in the past with Wild Magic. I put Wild Magic and Immolation up, now my Imp can heal. I bring out the Crab, lots of misses for both sides. I missed my Whirlpool, but I’m slowly taking down the Idol. It kills my Crab, I bring out the Imp to put up Wild Magic again, the Bandicoon comes out and after 17 rounds the Idol goes down.

It’s looking bleak, but I still have a Bandicoon and an Imp. The Bandicoon had to pop Survival, but with help from the backline DoT it takes out Deathy, who made a mistake by casting Darkness. I figure the Pup will lay down a trap so I swap to my Imp, hoping to get a few shots off. I do. The Imp dies and the Wolvar has around 500 hp to my Bandicoon’s 1 hp. A Trap is down, and I’m going to need a miss. Still looks bleak. I use Survival then Poison Fang. It all comes down to this, will my opponent miss? Wait, how could my opponent miss with Punch and no Darkness, gg, all that work for nothing. Except my opponent didn’t get the memo about 100% accuracy moves. They try to Maul me, miss, and I Poison Fang for the win. What an ending! Now I have to go to the dentist, Ill continue my run later.

Game 6 (To The Moon)
Fiendish Imp, Infected Squirrel, Nether Fairie Dragon
vs. Clockwork Rocket Bot, Gahz’rooki, Dark Phoenix Hatchling

072613HA pretty easy group of pets to take down, at least in this case. I started by Nether Gating Gahz’Rooki, my Dragon put up Moonlight, the Squirrel caused some pain with Creeping Fungus and Stampede under Moonlight. My opponent called it quits when all their pets were almost dead and all of mine had tons of health.

Game 7 (Curiously Strong)
Curiously Wolvar Pup, Warbot, Arctic Hare
vs. Gilnean Raven, Pandaren Monk, Scourged Whelpling

I don’t like Darkness because of the rng, but at least my Warbot has a good history of taking out Crows and Ravens, I think I’m in pretty good shape. And I would have been, if my Warbot could hit anything. Anything at all, which it couldn’t. No really, it did a grand total of 0 damage thanks to Darkness misses. Combined with other Darkness misses this was a total faceroll. The only good thing that happened for me was my Trap negated the Whelpling’s Undead turn, but that was it. My misses were so annoying I even forgot to grab a screenshot.

Game over.

Final Score: 6
