After yesterday’s score of 1 I’m itching for some redemption.

Game 1 (Big Baddies)
Lil’ Bad Wolf, Arctic Hare, Mr. Bigglesworth
vs. Unborn Val’kyr, Sinister Squashling, Magical Crawdad

072613AEverytime I see the Crawdad I know I’m in for a long one. It was a good battle, I’ve battled this person plenty of times and they know what they are doing. Although this time I felt that they made a mistake: while Wish was up and the shielded Crawdad was in with 123 hp vs. the Hare they chose to swap out, giving the Wish to Valk who didn’t need it as much. The bunny had a 50% to only hit two Flurries, letting the Crawdad heal. I guess they saw it as a 50% to hit three Flurries and kill the Crawdad. They chose to play it safe and the Crawdad died easily when it came back in.  After that it was an easy finish, although it had a lame ending. After it was clear that I had won my opponent ran down the timer each round before picking a move, making an already long thirty-two round game longer. Thanks.

Game 2 (Spudboy’s Pleasure)
Spirit Crab, Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Sen’Jin Fetish
vs. Crow, Crow, Crow

072613BSo unlucky. One of my better teams, but it has a weakness against Fliers. And here’s three of them. I’m not one to throw in the towel. My plan was sound, wear them down with Immolation and Whirlpool, hopefully get the Basilisk one on one with a slow bird at the end. Nice strategy, it worked out exactly as I wanted. I had my Basilisk in versus a slower, Immolated bird. As long as Darkness doesn’t… Darkness does. I miss my Crystal Prison, I miss my Thrash afterwards, both 100% accuracy moves brought down to 90% by Darkness. Stupid birds. No redemption today.

Game over.

Final Score: 1
