Game 1 (Bring Out The DoT)
Corefire Imp, Scourged Whelpling, Fel Flame
vs. Brilliant Kaliri, Terrible Turnip, Scourged Whelpling

It’s nice to use some of my old favorites sometimes. I may have been using this team since 5.1. Rare Scourged Whelplings were such a PITA to find back then. Anyways, I wasn’t sure what this person’s strategy was. Sunlight, Darkness, Dreadful Breath, they were all over the place. It did take me down to last pet to finish, I don’t know what that says about my skills.

Game 2 (Total Thrash)
Fiendish Imp, Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Warbot
vs. Brilliant Kaliri, Terrible Turnip, Scourged Whelpling

080413ESame opponent, same result. I’m still not sure what they’re trying to pull off here. The Darkness and Nocturnal Strike synergize well. The Sunlight and healing have some obvious synergy. There’s some type coverage. I guess there’s some basics here, but it still doesn’t seem to work that well. I had to be aware of the Turnip’s Tidal Wave when throwing Mines, but besides that another easy one.

Game 3 (Bleeding Shock)
Snarly, Infested Bear Cub, Electrified Razortooth
vs. Magical Crawdad, Venus, Pterrordax Hatchling

080413DOh yeah, take that Crawdad. Seems like I win against the Crawdad a lot more often than I lose, but I still don’t have to like facing it. The Pterrordax is so cool looking, too bad it doesn’t perform better n PvP. Venus is pretty interesting looking too, as an achievement award it sure underperforms, what’s the deal with that?I’ve been running a lot of Bleeding teams lately, my meta must be getting tired of them. My habit with my Bleed teams is I will play them for a few weeks and then forget about them. I’ll probably keep em’ around for longer this time since they do so well against Direhorns. Speaking of which, what a nice day to pet battle, I haven’t seen one yet.

Game 4 (The Hard Call)
Snarly, Infested Bear Cub, Electrified Razortooth
vs. Brilliant Kaliri, Terrible Turnip, Scourged Whelpling

080413BThis person again. I keep coming back to this team because it’s doing so well in Challenge Mode. It went 17-1-2 when I was trying it out, I don’t know it’s overall record is. It’s fun. Usually if I have this much success with a certain pet or team people on my meta will copy it, but so far I haven’t seen any Infested Bear Cubs. Which is fine by me, bulky undead are so damn hard to take down.

Game 5 (Crabby Smacker)
Spirit Crab, Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Crystal Geode
vs. Celestial Dragon, Clockwork Gnome, Chrominius

080413The Gnome went down fast, it was funny. I threw down a Whirlpool with my Crab and knew the Gnome was going to set up a Rocket so I swapped to my Geode. The Geode hit a Stone Rush crit which took the Gnome down to 0 hp, then after it rezzed the Whirlpool finished it off. I would be curious to see how well the Clockwork Gnome does overall. It seems like I’m always beating it. Not as much as the Kun-Lai Runt, but a lot. That would require a lot of tabulation which I’m not planning on doing anytime soon.

Game 6 (The Hard Call)
Snarly, Infested Bear Cub, Electrified Razortooth
vs. Clockwork Gnome, Zandalari Anklerender, Fiendish Imp

080413CFirst turn was Minefield and Immolation. The poor Imp missed its Nether Gate as I swapped in my Bear. Take the Diseased Bites or swap? The Imp stayed in and went down in three Diseased Bites. No backlining for you! I was able to get another Minefield down for the raptor, an easy win overall (thanks to the missed Gate).

Game 7 (Bleeding Shock)
Snarly, Infested Bear Cub, Electrified Razortooth
vs. Alpine Foxling, Ghostly Skull, Hopling

Wow really? I think I’m cursed to get a maximum score of six for the rest of my Challenge Modes. Real-life distractions made it difficult to finish. If I’m going to count it as a win when people leave my games I guess I better do the same for myself. Sucks.

Game over.

Final Score: 6
