It’s Tuesday, I had better start with some of my top teams to deal with the Direhorns and Idols.

Game 1 (Sears and Robot)
Spirit Crab, Warbot, Sen’Jin Fetish
vs. Fiendish Imp, Pandaren Monk, Chuck

082713BThanks to a crit my Warbot was able to take out the Imp. The Monk walked into the Minefield, I swapped to my Fetish who took the Monk down fast. The Spirit crab was barely needed. It only came out at the end to finish off Chuck.

Game 2 (Space Doo Doo Pistols)
Fiendish Imp, Warbot, Stone Armadillo
vs. Nether Fairie Dragon, Kun-Lai Runt, Darkmoon Tonk

From playing enough Warbots and Tonks I know the last I wanna let my opponent do is get down a Minefield. So I Gated out the Tonk Immediately even though that attack is weak against Mechs. The Runt came in so I switched to my Armadillo. It turns out that this Runt has Thrash. Ouch. I was losing this one until the end when my opponent made a swap from his Dragon to the Runt. That allowed me to get a Minefield down and take a free shot at the Runt, killing it. The Dragon came right back in to the fresh Mines, the Warbot won the coin flip and killed the Dragon.

Game 3 (The Hard Call)
Snarly, Warbot, Infested Bear Cub
vs. Nordrassil Wisp, Darkmoon Tonk, Kun-Lai Runt

082713AI need a bumper sticker that says “I swap for Wisps”. I usually swap when I get Blinded and that didn’t change during this battle. I’ve fought this person a lot, usually I have something faster than 292, but not this time. This was a close battle, my Warbot had a chance to end it an missed a Missile. My Bear had to come in and finish it off with a Maul.

Game 4 (Cry Tough)
Spirit Crab, Crimson Geode, Warbot
vs. Fiendish Imp, Fiendish Imp, Pygmy Direhorn

After winning a few I stopped playing like it’s Tuesday. On my meta one needs to plan for both Humanoids and Beasts and only had one of those covered. I can’t wait for Direhorns to be taken down a notch in 5.4. Really I’m looking forward to the downfall of the Idol even more than the Direhorn nerf. If I never saw a Direhorn or an Idol again I’d be a happy battler. This battle was decided by the Direhorn stunning two out of two.

Game over.

Final Score: 3
