Game 1 (Disco’s Destroyers)
Spirit Crab, Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Mongoose Pup
vs. Stunted Direhorn, Lil’ Bad Wolf, Infected Squirrel
I started off with the Basilisk, I figured if my opponent started with the 325 speed Wolf he would Dodge and then I would Feign on the second turn of Dodge. Instead the Direhorn came out. They were smart enough to Charge on the first move, but the turn after they were Prisoned and I hit three Thrashes. I Thrashed again while they Primal Cried. I Feigned to the Crab and luckily this was a Stampeding Direhorn, my Shell Shield came in handy. After the Direhorn was dispatched my faster Mongoose easily handled the Wolf. The Squirrel ran away.
Game 2 (Incrabbing)
Spirit Crab, Spirit Crab, Darkmoon Tonk
vs. Crow, Crow, Crow
Even with my weak attacks against birds this wasn’t too bad of a match-up for me, I figured as long as Darkness isn’t too lopsided with the rng I’ll be fine. It was lopsided, I wasn’t fine. My opponent missed one Alpha Strike. I missed two Missiles, two Surges, and one Whirlpool. When the rng gods turn on you there’s not much you can do.
Game over.
