Game 1 (Ratty Dread)
Robo-Chick, Black Rat, Scourged Whelpling
vs. Lil’ Tarecgosa, Onyxian Whelpling, Frosty

081713BMy opponents loves dragons. My Rat put up its DoT on the Onyxian Whelpling and I swapped to the Robo-Chick which finished it off. Frosty came in to finish my Robo-Chick, the Rat came in to finish Frosty and I was ahead. I expected the Surge of Power to come at the wrong time so I wasted a turn of Survival, that turned out to be what kept me from winning. The battle was a draw, at least I didn’t get knocked out.

Game 2 (Acid Thrash)
Scalded Basilisk Hatchling, Corefire Imp, Shimmershell Snail
vs. Sunreaver Micro-Sentry, Corefire Hound, Gahz’rooki

081713AOne thing that I really don’t like about my Acid Thrash team is that if I start with the Basilisk then I will Feign to the Snail when I really want to Feign to the Imp. It’s not a deal-breaker. I still like the team, but it’s something I have to consider when choosing my starting pet. In this battle I started with the Basilisk, after Gahz’rooki got stunned my opponent swapped to the Hound. I Thrashed until I got Howled, then Feigned to the Snail. My Snail finished off the Hound and got its DoT up on the Sunreaver before dying. Even thought I had more DoTs my opponent still chose to use Lightning. It led to my victory.

Game 3 (Bleeding Blight)
Blighted Squirrel, Snarly, Infected Bear Cub
vs. Stunted Direhorn, Crawling Claw, Fiendish Imp

Despite how many pet battlers on the forums talk about how they beat Direhorns left and right I still feel that they are a force to be reckoned with. The Direhorn hit all of its interrupts making it difficult to pull out the win. I’m out early today.

Game over.
